3.1C Background, Middle-ground, and Foreground

This third-grade art activity follows a discussion based on “The Gleaners” 1857 by Jean-Francois Millet. We use the terms background, middle-ground, and foreground to place objects into our composition. Artists use four things to create depth in their works of art.
